This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of AGD Studio LLC (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") regarding the Nourish Lens: AI Nutritionist mobile application (the "Application").

The Application is designed to be private by default. We do not require you to create an account, and we explicitly do not collect, save, or have access to any of your personal data. All information generated through your use of the Application is stored exclusively and securely on your own device.

1. Privacy-First Approach & Anonymous Usage
We maintain a strict policy of minimizing data collection to prioritize your privacy. This means:

    • No Personal Data: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any information that reveals your identity.    

    • Anonymous Analytics: We use trusted Google Analytics for analytics. This data is never linked to your identity.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide a personalized experience and power the Application's core features, certain, non-identifying data is saved directly to your device's local database. You remain in full control of this data, and we, the developers, have no access to this information.

The specific information stored locally includes:

    • Your Health Goal: Your selected dietary preference (e.g., "Weight Loss," or "Diabetic-Friendly") is saved on your device to tailor the analysis of scanned products and provide personalized insights.

    • Your Scan History: A log of the products you scan is kept on your device. This data is used solely to power the internal "Food History" and "Nutrient Trends" features.

3. Real-Time Processing and Third-Party Interaction

The Application requires access to your device's camera to perform its essential function of scanning barcodes and nutrition labels.

    • Camera Usage: The camera feed is processed in real-time. Images are not stored by the Application after the analysis is complete.

    • Third-Party Processing & Performance:  To provide immediate food intelligence and ensure app stability, we utilize trusted third-party services (Google Services). This includes sending image data for AI analysis to generate nutrition scores, as well as processing anonymous usage metrics to improve app performance. All data processed by these services is de-identified and is not linked to your personal identity or private profile.

    • Anonymity Guarantee: This data transfer is conducted anonymously. The image data is sent for the sole purpose of analysis and is not accompanied by any information that could identify you or your device.

4. Data Sharing and Sale

As we do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data, we do not—and cannot—share it with any third party. Your data resides only on your device.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
